I thought I might be able to complete all of the painting on the panda by the end of the week, but I didn't quite get there. I need to shelve it right now to move onto other things, but it WILL get done. It's just a matter of time...
I'm going for a watercolor look, but the project isn't done using watercolor materials. The animation drawings are pencil on animation paper. I've scanned them and now I'm going through and painting each frame in photoshop.
I tried doing animation on watercolor paper once, but it was so difficult, pegging the drawings, etc.

i would have put him a little out of balance when standing up, being a panda (fat) and all.
Hey BJ. Great animation as always. What software (or otherwise) do you use for coloring?
The Panda's looking BRILLIANT! Thanks BJ!
Beautiful!! Too bad you have to put it on hold! Can't wait to see the full piece all in color :)
You mentioned before that your water coloring it I think. How do you transfer the animation onto watercolor paper?
